2148 Industries is a veteran led retained executive search firm working with aerospace, defense, manufacturing and industrial companies.

The name is the work. 2148 is 8412 reversed, the Marine Corps military occupational specialty for Career Recruiter. Ryan Ferreira and Randy Webb met in 2015 as Marine Corps recruiters and founded the firm in 2024, bringing 34 combined years of Marine Corps recruiting and leadership development experience.

We search the seats where operating performance is decided: chief executive, chief operating officer, vice president of operations, general manager, plant manager, site director and engineering director.

Every engagement is run by a principal. Nothing is handed to a research team.

Retained search is engaged on a fee of 25 percent of first year total cash compensation, structured as a 10 percent retainer to begin and 15 percent on placement. Every retained placement carries a 180 day replacement guarantee, and the ninety day integration work exists so that we rarely have to honor it.

Alongside search we take recruiting consulting and leadership development engagements, each scoped and priced before work begins.
