overview

Wilson-Douglas-Jordan is primarily a retained executive search firm. We also maintain a Practice that specializes in contingency search, outplacements and staffing. Wilson-Douglas-Jordan was formed in 1989 to initially specialize in IT executive search and since broadened to include additional functional/executive areas. We have been a preferred search vendor to Big-5 (D&T and Andersen), Vendors and Consulting Firms (IBM, DEC, AT&T, TSC) and Corporations (Banking Institutions, Insurance, Aerospace, Airlines, Manufacturing, Retail, Transportation, Healthcare and Communications).

We provide confidentiality to both our clients and to our candidates. Using a proven search methodology we seldom use internet job-boards or advertise. We provide a consultative approach to our clients. Over 80% of our candidates submitted are extended offers, and our closing rate exceeds 95%.

The average (mean) base compensation for retained-search candidates closed during fiscal 2000-2002 has exceeded $150K. For the contingency candidates, the average base compensation has exceeded $70K.

The firm's founder John T Wilson has individually billed over $20M in search fees since 1989.
