Experience

Involved in Information Technology since 1972, Mr. Wilson has in-depth experience in all major aspects of large-scale IT environments. During seven years with International Harvester (now Navistar), he progressed from Corporate Director of Training to Director,Concept Planning ,Applications Development Director, and Corporate Internal Consulting Director.

Mr. Wilson's expertise encompasses a wide range of hardware and software applicable to large-scale configurations and distributed systems. At Navistar, Mr. Wilson chaired a 20-member task force to create and implement systems development life cycle standards integrated with project management software. He also directed the development of an enterprise-wide integrated accounting system and directed the implementation of a complete skills inventory for all IT professionals. In prior experience at Jewel Foods, Inc. and Sears, Mr. Wilson held positions in applications development, technical support and management, data base administration and data center operations. At Jewel Foods, Mr. Wilson managed major projects and provided technical support for business systems, operating systems, and program products.

Mr. Wilson has extensive consulting experience ranging from IT reviews, assessments and solutions proposals on a national and international scale. Mr. Wilson is the former Chairman of SHARE Productivity Improvement Committee and has held various memberships in DPMA, SIM, NaSPA, Database Management Users Group, EDP Auditors Association, Midwest Computer Measurement Society, and the Chicago Information Technology Education Council. Prior to the establishment of WILSON ∆ DOUGLAS ∆ JORDAN, Mr. Wilson was the top revenue-producing Senior Account Manager for five consecutive years with one of the country's most established IT Executive Search Firms. WILSON ∆ DOUGLAS ∆ JORDAN was organized during 1989 to service the Information Technology sector specializing in the integrated solutions arena to provide retained search, contingency and/or contract recruiting.
