biography

Brenda Zamzow-Frazier is Founder and President of The Zamzow Group, Inc., an accounting services firm providing seasoned financial and accounting professionals (CPAs and MBAs) to client companies for long-term special projects, interim staffing and direct hire positions. Brenda’s extensive experience building, strengthening and leading the financial function for corporations in various stages, has propelled The Zamzow Group as the foremost company reshaping how financial synergy takes place throughout major businesses in Southern California.

In 2008, The Zamzow Group became certified by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), which provides a national standard of certification for women-owned businesses and is considered to be one of the most widely recognized and respected certifications in the nation.

Prior to founding The Zamzow Group, Brenda was a financial consultant for Sony Pictures Entertainment. During her tenure, Brenda designed new and more efficient processes for the company’s international television division.

Previously, Brenda was Senior Vice President of Finance at Internet Directories USA, and served as Chief Operating & Financial Officer of Creative Intelligence, Inc. She spent ten years at Fox Television, a subsidiary of News Corp., one of the world’s largest media conglomerate companies, highlighted by her work as Vice President of Twentieth Television & General Manager of FoxStar Productions.

Since founding The Zamzow Group in 2003, Brenda has cultivated an impressive list of clientele including Sony Pictures Entertainment, Warner Bros., Ernst & Young, and Southern California Edison. She also caters to many small to middle-market companies and not-for-profit organizations in the Greater Los Angeles area.

In addition to her business achievements, Brenda serves on several association and not-for-profit boards, including Accounting Career Awareness Program (ACAP), Ernst & Young Alumni Association, FAME (Financial And Managements Executives In Entertainment) and the National Association of Women Business Owners.

Brenda is a past President of the Angeles Girl Scout Council and the Los Angeles Junior Chamber of Commerce, and remains involved as an advisor to both. She is an active member in several community and professional organizations, including the Los Angeles Area and Beverly Hills Chambers of Commerce, California Society of CPAs, ProVisors, Association for Corporate Growth, and Executive Women’s Golf Association.

A native of Wisconsin, Brenda earned her B.A. degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and is a Certified Public Accountant.
