biography

Kimberly Wilson is an executive search/talent acquisition expert, who has specialized in the industrial sector since 1997. She has distinguished herself in the energy and chemical industries. She is known for her ability to find and engage diverse slates of talented candidates, while constantly understanding her client's needs and candidate's career expectations to create a win-win recruitment experience.

As the Managing Director of TLR Search, she draws upon her broad, global search experience and solid understanding of what is important to people and business. Kimberly has matched talent in a myriad of industries, placing decision-makers in executive-title levels, supervisors in functional management posts and experienced professionals in technical positions. Prior to her current position, Kimberly served as a Vice President at Maxwell Drummond. She has held other executive search positions at numerous prestigious firms, including Heidrick & Struggles, Korn/Ferry Futurestep and DHR International. In addition, Kimberly headed the search function as the Director of Search and Execution for Eclipse Group. Before moving into recruitment/talent acquisition, she successfully handled operations management in the retail industry.

For more than six years, Kimberly served on the board of Women's Energy Network and is a past president of the organization. In 2014 and 2015, Kimberly strategized and planned the 2015 WEN biennial conference in New Orleans while holding the position of Conference Chair. She is currently a member of the community board of Pink Petro. She is a member of the Greater Houston Partnership-Women's Business Alliance, where she served on the steering committee for four years, and has earned the honor of Life Member through her role as an Ambassador. A dedicated community volunteer, Kimberly acted as a Girl Scout Leader for eleven years until 2012. She has also been an active collaborator on the leadership committee for the American Lung Association in 2011. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Northern Illinois University with a minor in Sociology and holds a Strategic Human Resources Certification from Cornell University.
