Jim Wills has been recruiting corporate communications and public relations executives for nearly 20 years. He established Wills Consulting Associates in 1997, after a Manhattan-based career with communicatons

search firms there.

Prior to entering the search field, Jim was a public relations/corporate communications professional based in San Francisco, Seattle, and New York City. His background includes tenure with a Fortune 500 corporation, public relations firms serving major domestic and international clients, and one of the world's premier management consulting firms--where he received training as a management consulting.

During this time, Jim gained functional experience in the areas that form the core of his search work. These include issues tracking and management, public affairs and government relations, financial communications and investor relations, media relations, marketing communications, and corporate communications program development and implementation.

To clients, this background translates to a recruiter who has experience in many of the areas in which he is recruiting, a "business" orientation, and a consultative approach to what is often a "transactional" process.
