Harvey Weiner founded Search America in 1974. Formerly he was Chief Operating Officer of a major, nationwide hotel management company, and previously a Regional Director with one of the nation's foremost restaurant operators.

Harvey's practice is focused on working closely with the owners, directors and search committees on Best Practices in governance and private club operations and in the recruitment of the General Managers and Chief Operating Officers of private clubs worldwide, His firm has amassed the club industry's most extensive database. Additionally, he conducts a variety of powerful board workshops, governance and Board Orientation retreats as well as individual coaching of private club directors. He has personally participated in over 2,500 Board Consultations and senior club management searches. Harvey has appeared on TV and radio and is an acclaimed speaker before private club trade groups, widely quoted and published in all relevant trade journals of The Club and Hospitality Industries. A graduate of Boston University Harvey is acknowledged as "The GURU" of private club management. His firm, Search America, represents directors, owners, management firms and municipalities engaged in the golf, country, city, and yacht club industry worldwide.
