A new kind of talent agent: Having early roots in Hollywood and Beverly Hills, Jim Trattner, a Harvard-trained clinical psychologist, studied the most successful approaches used by top theatrical agents. The insights he gained about creatively managing talent inspired his vision for a digital talent agency designed strictly to serve technology companies.

The vision realized: In 1975, Jim founded the prestigious Trattner Network, a $60M technology professional services company, where he served as CEO and President for 20 years. Jim supplied consultants who helped build the infrastructure for many of America's premier high technology companies.

A natural evolution: Driven by the urgency of "Internet time" and by an explosion of high-tech start-ups, TalentWave emerged in 1995 from the Trattner Network as a "just-in-time" supplier of executive superstars. Today, TalentWave thrives as a boutique supplier to both the technology and biopharmaceutical markets.
