Maria Tereza Garcia Wong

biography

Tereza is a full partner and executive search consultant at Robert Wong Executive Consulting, Cornerstone's member office for Brazil located in Sao Paulo.

Prior to becoming a Consultant, she worked in Economics Planning in Germany for approximately six years and initiated her career as an Executive Search Consultant in 1989 in Brazil. Tereza later joined Korn/Ferry International, initially as an Associate, and subsequently as a Client Partner, where she remained for 10 years.

In addition to working mostly on Director/C-level search assignments, Tereza was also involved in Management Assessment projects. Her work was focused mainly in the Financial Services specialty, working extensively on projects in the Industrial, Telecommunications, Healthcare, Agribusiness, Retail, Consultancy Firms, Non-Profit Organizations, Cultural, and Real Estate segments

In 2004, she established her own Executive Search firm. Tereza is certified in Coaching by the ICI -Integrated Coaching Institute, and accredited in the application of LPA -Launch Pad Analysis, an executive assessment tool.

Tereza holds a B.Sc. degree in Economics from Mackenzie University in São Paulo, followed by a post-graduate course in Business Administration at Stuttgart University.
