Steve Tennessen

biography

Steve's philosophy about talent is that it must fit the greater mission and personality of the organisation, rather than simply fulfilling a particular role. For nearly a decade Steve has conducted executive search and talent consulting assignments, initially as leader of a project delivery team before turning his attention to client partnerships. Appointed as Global Vice Chair of the Consumer & Retail practice group in 2011, Steve continues to build value-add relationships while directing search fulfillment in consumer packaged goods, food and beverage, durable goods, and hypermarkets. As a Regional Leader of the Energy & Utilities global practice group, Steve partners directly with independent power producers and utility companies while acting as a subject matter expert for clean tech and renewable energy assignments.

Originally from Texas, Steve has been living in Chicago ever since he graduated from Northwestern University with a double degree in Economics and History.
