biography

Barbara Stahley is a Principal with Chadick Ellig. She joined the firm in 2010, bringing expertise in talent identification, candidate development and assessment, executive search, and strategic career planning. Her previous work as an HR business partner and talent acquisition specialist in corporate and consulting environments, and government gives her tremendous insight into the unique human capital needs of her clients. Barbara conducts C-level executive searches for leaders across functional and business lines in human resources, marketing, finance, general management, and operations. As a generalist, she has worked with clients across a wide range of industries, including nonprofit, federal government, financial and business services, healthcare, and industrial manufacturing. Prior to joining Chadick Ellig, Barbara worked at the international recruitment firm, Michael Page. Initially hired into their Graduate Trainee Development program, Barbara held subsequent leadership positions both in New York and at the organization’s corporate headquarters in London. With a highly consultative and customer service-oriented approach to talent acquisition, she built and led recruitment teams supporting clients in the financial services and legal industry. Additionally, Barbara led the start-up of Michael Page’s nonprofit division in the New York market. Barbara received her Master's degree in Human Resource Management & Organizational Analysis from King's College London and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Rutgers University. She is a member of New York HR People & Strategy, serves on the Executive Committee of the King’s College Alumni Association in New York City and is an active Alumni Career Advisor and Mentor at both of her alma maters.
