biography
After graduating in Modern Languages from Cambridge and obtaining an MBA from INSEAD and an MSc from Bath, Alastair entered executive search in 1988, and was Operations Director of a major international consultancy before becoming a Founding director of Hanover Fox in 1996. His early career was as a Detective Inspector in The Royal Hong Kong Police Special Branch, and then in HM Diplomatic Service, where he was an Arabist and specialised in the Middle East. His recruiting career has spanned industry and commerce, and he has developed particular recent expertise in the charity sector and in Non Executive Director appointments.
