biography

Bill Sherriff, Vice President of Sherriff & Associates, is responsible for leading the firm in implementation of strategies which result in successful physician search activity. He has over 20 years of physician search experience including recruitment, marketing, search consulting, sales and consultant management.

Bill’s unique manner is perfect for current market forces where problem-solving and negotiation are keys to success. He possesses an uncanny ability to accurately assess the issues of both clients and physicians have and turn the negotiations into successful outcomes. He has served on numerous committees with the National Association of Physician Recruiters (NAPR), and served multiple terms as president of First Choice, Inc., a national consortium of the nation’s finest physician search companies.

Prior to his career with Sherriff & Associates, Bill served in the U.S. Marine Corps and worked also at the Marine Corps National Personnel & Pay Center in Kansas City for another 14 years. Bill’s responsibilities included serving as a systems analyst and in personnel management

Bill received a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Missouri Kansas City. His leisure interests include leading a drama troupe at his church, studying and collecting American Art Pottery, Kansas City Chiefs football, Kansas City Royals baseball, and Kansas University basketball.
