Allan Rae is a Director of Alto Recruitment Pty Limited which was established in 2004. Alto is joining forces with Geddes Parker & Partners in Sydney and will become the Melbourne, Australia office of Cornerstone International Group.
Allan's background is primarily in Search & Selection Consulting and Human Resource Management spanning some 40 years.
Prior to entering the consulting ranks, Allan held senior Human Resource Management roles with the worldwide Bechtel Group for 11 years. Bechtel is the world's largest privately owned Engineering Construction Contractor. He served as HR Manager on the Ok Tedi Gold Project in Papua New Guinea and the PT Inco Nickel project in Sulawesi, Indonesia. For three years Allan lived and worked in Saudi Arabia spending one (1) year in Jubail and two (2) years in Riyadh during the construction of the USD 7.5 Billion King Khalid International Airport Project where he was the Recruitment Manager responsible for resourcing the 1,500 strong Bechtel team from Bechtel offices and agents internationally.
Through Alto Recruitment, Allan continues to conduct senior level searches and advertised selection campaigns for the Engineering Construction (EPCM) sector here in Australia as well as in the Manufacturing, Supply Chain, FMCG and Forestry industries covering diverse disciplines.
He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in HR Management from Deakin University, Australia.
