biography

As a former Human Resources leader at industry icons such as Wells Fargo, US WEST and Amoco, Eric was a frequent user of executive search and human resources consulting. He saw a need for a more integrated approach to talent management and craved a higher level of service than he was getting from traditional service providers. Feeling that there should be something better, he ventured into the entrepreneurial realm and started Integrated People Solutions. He had no sales experience, but he was fortunate to have a loyal following amongst his former employers – many of whom became clients. Through strong results and word of mouth, he was able to develop a stable of industry leading clients. His work with firms such as ServiceMaster, Waste Management, and State Farm has earned him the highest regard among clients and peers. His work in the human resources, supply chain, and customer loyalty areas has been recognized as top notch. As an example, Eric worked with his team to help build Waste Management’s Procurement team which won Purchasing Magazine’s Purchasing Team of the Year in 2005.

Eric’s educational background has prepared him well to serve his clients. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration emphasizing in Industrial Relations & Human Resources from the University of Iowa. After several years of practical work experience, he earned his MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, with an emphasis in Global Management.

Eric is connected across the country and international landscape. He maintains active as a member in many associations as well as multiple volunteer efforts. He served on the Advisory Council for the Department of Management and Organizations at the University of Iowa, and he is certified in products from leading industry providers such as Personnel Dimensions International, LRMA, Zenger Miller, and Development Dimensions International. He is also a member of the Society for Human Resources Management and the Human Resources Planning Society.

When Eric has a moment or two of free time he takes full advantage of the Rocky Mountains. He is an avid cyclist – both on road and off and competes each year in the Leadville 100 Mountain Bike Race. During the winter months Eric’s free time passion turns to skiing and snowboarding with his family.
