Austin Palmer

biography

I started the Palmer Group six years ago with a vision to build the premier firm in Central Iowa. I'm pleased with the progress we've made and even more excited about the possibilities for our company in the next five years.

I grew up in Urbandale and graduated from UNI with an accounting degree in 1982. I participated in several sports in high school and was a four year starting pitcher for the Panthers. I continue to be a big college sports fan. Most of my free time now is spent with my wife and two boys or on the golf course.

I'm very fortunate to have surrounded myself with some outstanding people here… As we've grown I have continued to stay involved with our clients and candidates and very much enjoy that part of my role. Most of my recruiting time now is spent in the areas of Accounting and Finance.
