Mr. Pahlow brings over 13 years of executive recruiting experience to PMJ Inc. A natural at executive recruiting, Jim understands that business is ultimately about people. Mr. Pahlow began his recruiting career in 1999 with Staff Management, where he established himself as leader in the industry. Jim is committed to serving his clients with precision and insight. Throughout his distinguished career, he has served a variety of sectors, including Commercial (retail, hospitality, medical); Multi-Family Residential (apartment complexes); and Gas Compression (oil/gas, industrial and manufacturing).



His extensive knowledge of both industry and business provides clients with exceptional insight into the qualities that drive financial success, and he consistently places transcendent middle to senior-level professionals. And he understands that a great talent match never needs to be sold. He intuitively knows when he’s found the right match, and his long track record of successful placements proves his skill.



Jim’s impressive achievements have earned him many awards, including President’s Club and the Dom Pérignon Award.



A member of the Association of General Contractors, the Association of Builders and Contractors, the Urban Land Institute, the US Green Building Council and the Gas Compression Organization.



Raised in Wisconsin, he possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin. A true Green Bay Packers fan, Jim enjoys traveling, surfing, exercising and sailing. Being a cancer survivor; he is blessed to be able to volunteer in such areas as cancer and AIDS research.
