biography

Mark is a Partner in Amrop Dublin office. Mark began his career as a HR generalist and Organisation Development Specialist with an Investment Bank in Sydney and London. Upon returning to Ireland Mark joined KPMG as Manager in their Executive Search and Selection practice. In 2004 Mark joined Deloitte Ireland where he was practice leader for the Human Capital Consulting Division which encompassed HR Transformation, Change Management, Executive search and Talent management. Mark was responsible for growing the practice area to become a leading HR consulting practice in the Irish Market place. Mark has an Honours degree in HRM and Accountancy while also holding Diploma's in Coaching, Learning and Development and Workplace Psychology. Mark has deep experience in the areas of Consumer, Food and Retail as well as Technology, ecommerce and Financial Services. Mark is skilled in working for clients in the professional services area, given his background as well as the renewables area. Mark recruits across all senior management and board levels with a particular emphasis on CEO, HR Directors, Marketing and Finance Directors. Additionally Mark is a member of Amrop Global Leadership Services team which in charged with the strategic direction and growth of Leadership Services for the Group. Mark has many years Talent Management consulting experience with a particular emphasis on Succession Planning and Assessment. Mark is a certified Level A and B BPS practitioner and is adept at using a range of assessment and development tools. Mark has authored a book in 2012 on the subject of Succession Planning and is a regular conference speaker on the topic.
