biography
Maura Nobili is a Partner of Amrop in Italy. Maura joined Amrop (Amrop D&G) in October 2010 after more than 20 years in Executive Search. Maura started her career in a tax and fiscal advisory firm, and then she moved and lived for several years, in UK, Egypt and Norway. During this time, she worked as a PR and Communications consultant for Italian and International Associations. In 1992, Maura returned to Italy and joined Korn Ferry as Research Director of the Firm. Furthermore, she was highly involved in global projects dealing with Information Systems, Knowledge Management, Training and Mentorship programs for new colleagues in Eastern Europe. In 1996, she was promoted Principal of Korn Ferry Italy and took part in the start-up of Korn Ferry Selection, the middle management division of the Group. After 3 years, Maura was promoted to Partner working exclusively on Executive Search assignments for Italian and International clients. In 2001, as Senior Client Partner and Member of the European Consumer & Retail Practice, she managed Executive Search assignments mainly in the Food, Luxury Goods, Fashion and Retail markets. In addition, Maura was Regional and Global Key Account Manager for several clients, the most important one being the Fiat Group. Maura holds a degree in Economics from the University of Genoa and she speaks fluent English.
