SAM NEWELL, DIRECTOR AND FOUNDER OF MINDPOOL CONSULTING, has over 15 years as a senior executive search consultant and executive recruitment specialist. Sam started his search career as a technology specialist in the investment banking market. After a number of successful years in the UK executive search market, Sam moved to Frankfurt, Germany, where he built a successful search business focused on the German banking market.
Following his return to the UK three years later, Sam was employed by a FTSE 100 financial services company within their global head office with responsibility for all leadership recruitment across all business functions and the executive office. During this time, Sam recruited more than 100 senior executives.
Prior to founding Mindpool Consulting, Sam worked for the fastest growing management consultancy in the UK where he was responsible for supporting their rapid growth ambitions throughout the UK, Europe and Middle East.
Sam set up Mindpool Consulting in 2006 with a fellow Director. Their goal - to provide agile, high quality, research - led executive search solutions to dynamic growth businesses within the UK and overseas.
Sam is a specialist in recruiting senior investment professionals for Mindpool Consulting’s private equity & venture capital clients and their portfolio investments.
