In July of 1989 Carol founded The Metzner Group, LLC, a professional search firm specializing in the search and recruitment of Architects - Engineers - Planning professionals nationwide. The Metzner Group, LLC, has become a nationwide market leader in A/E/P recruitment through the utilization of a network of the most competent professionals in our business. Our associates consist of industry specialists, with a unique combination of business and consulting experience. Together we work towards a single goal- matching the needs, goals and objectives of our clients and candidates for long-term success.

Additionally, she has served as an industry expert and judge for CE News, Structural Engineering News, and Architecture publications’ “Best Firms to Work for Contest(s)”. Over the years Carol has conducted recruiting presentations to industry associations such as the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), regional sections of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) Human Resources Roundtable. She has authored several human resources and recruiting articles for PSMJ Resouces.
