biography

Mr. McDonald is Vice President of Client Services for Howe-Lewis International. He brings a broad range of experience from the not-for-profit community and service industries. Prior to joining Howe-Lewis International in 1996, Mr. McDonald was Membership Services Coordiator with the New York Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Before joining the NYCVB, Mr. McDonald spent five years with the New York State Hospitality & Tourism Association, a statewide trade association representing lodging and attractions, located in Albany, NY. While attending college he worked for Leucadia National Corporation, a diversified financial services holding company, and the Alan Guttmacher Institute, the research affiliate of Planned Parenthood Federation of America.

Born and raised in New York City, Kirk is an alumnus of Bernard M. Baruch College and is a member of the African American Nonprofit Network, the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, and the Human Rights Campaign.
