Fernando is Managing Partner of Fesa’s Business Unit for executive search and assessment practices, for the following industries: Industrial, Energy, Oil & Gas, and Infrastructure. As a result of Fesa’s association with IIC Partners, he also conducts consulting projects in more than 60 business centers throughout the world. During 10 years Fernando was a Senior Consultant and Vice President for the Brazilian subsidiaries of Korn Ferry International and Heidrick & Struggles. Prior to joining the executive search industry he was a consultant and partner in a management and investment consulting firm, Gestão Serviços Ltda during 6 years. Fernando worked for nearly 10 years as one of the leading executives in the international arm of Petrobrás, initially leading the sale of several engineering services and capital goods on-demand projects to governments and private clients in South America, Africa, Middle East, South Asia, Indo-China, and Southeast Asia. He was based in Singapore, as Managing Director for the company’s commercial operations in commodities and engineering services with most Asian countries, as well as Australia and New Zealand, and for a period of 8 years, Fernando was appointed the Honorary Consul-General for Singapore in Brazil. Early in his career, Fernando also worked at Siemens in Transportation, Energy, Oil & Gas, Water & Sewage, and Telecommunications projects, based in Brazil and later on in Germany. Fernando A. Lohmann received his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Católica de Petrópolis, RJ, and his Masters in Nuclear Engineering from Universidade Estadual do Rio de Janeiro.
