biography
Viesturs Liegis is a Partner in Amrop Riga office. He joined Amrop in 2005. Viesturs has broad experience working in IT and Telecommunications industry since 1993. He started in Lattelekom, Latvian largest fixed telecommunications provider and worked in different positions related to marketing and product development . Later he became a Council member in Latvijas Mobilais Telefons, the largest mobile network operator in Latvia. After that he joined Microsoft as Marketing organization manager for the Baltic region. In Amrop Viesturs mostly works with finance sector, IT&telecommunications, manufacturing, transportation and infrastructure sectors. Viesturs graduated from Riga Technical University with a Radio engineer diploma . In 2002 he obtained MBA degree from Riga Business School. Viesturs speaks fluent Latvian, English, Russian and some German. His hobbies include music, travelling, sports and model building.
