biography

Suzanne has served as President since founding Rainmaker in 2001. She is responsible for strategic leadership and growth of Rainmaker's executive search business. She works with clients to help build their executive teams, develop their organizational strategy, and offer insight on talent and trends in the market.

Suzanne is an accomplished business development and search executive with 15+ years of experience working with both established and high-growth companies. She has spent her career building businesses, developing sales and market strategy, and recruiting senior executives. She believes in building long-term relationships with her candidates and clients, and has developed an extensive network of senior executives and entrepreneurs in the technology industry.

Prior to Rainmaker, Suzanne was a founder and member of the executive team of a wireless software start-up. She led business development, recruited the Board of Directors and executive management team, and was instrumental in developing the business plan, raising funds, and selling the vision of the company.

Previously, Suzanne was Regional Manager for the Computer Task Group (CTG), where she was tasked to build and run a new division focused on Managed Services. She was responsible for key hires, sales, strategic planning, P&L, and implementing the strategy to establish CTG's presence in the market. Under her leadership, the firm realized growth 200% above forecasts.

She began her career with the Merrill Corporation, and was a top producing sales executive, consistently ranked at the top of Merrill's national sales team.

Suzanne is on the Board of Directors for Job for Virginia Graduates (JVG), a nonprofit organization and award winning program with the purpose of serving Virginia’s most disadvantaged and at-risk youth in graduating high school and transitioning from school to work.
