biography

Alberto Lares is the Director of Executive Assessment & Development for HCI, he joined Human Capital International in 2004. Integral to his role, he is responsible for the development and implementation of numerous programs targeted to support the application and integration of HCI tools and techniques in organizational development initiatives. Over the years, Alberto has worked with clients all over the Americas, Europe, and Asia in the assessment of strategic competencies and behaviors, developed programs to establish selection and development processes and coached individuals to achieve success in their careers. In addition, Alberto is adept at designing custom development plans and seminars to meet our clients' changing needs. Alberto is also the Managing Director of Cornerstone Assessments a Division of Cornerstone International Group one of the Largest Executive Search Networks in the world.

Alberto has Coached a number of executives at all levels of the organization (Presidents down to middle managers) to help them improve on specific leadership behaviors.
He has also conducted coaching certification programs that help other coaches and managers improve their skills, abilities and effectiveness. He´s currently certified as a Change Leadership Workshop Facilitator.

Prior to joining HCI Alberto was a Senior Project Manager at the William Davidson Institute where he conducted several consulting assignments in Asia-Pacific, Europe, and North America. Alberto holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Michigan and a M.B.A. (Organizational Behavior) from the University of Michigan.

Alberto has consulted across a wide variety of industries and organizations including UBS, PWC, Deloitte, Chrysler, Comcast, Santander, ITESM, Janssen-Cilag, MAPFRE, GCC, Laureate International Universities, Shell, ENA, Linbeck, Several Government Agencies, Volaris, Cornerstone International Group, Angelica, and Toyota.
