Martin Krekac is the Co-Founder of Amrop Slovakia and Senior Partner. In 1990 he became the first professionally-trained Executive Search Consultant in Slovakia. In the course of twenty years of experience in international Executive Search, Board Advisory and Human Capital Consulting Services (Western and Central Europe), he has carried out cross-sector assignments in General Management, Governance Consulting as well as Board Appointments. He has a well earned reputation for acquiring the best talent in the marketplace at C-level (CEO, COO, CFO, CIO) as well as below the C-level with particular focus on diversity, organizational, process design & development, and executive coaching. He is Public Sector Services Practice Group Leader, where he has made outstanding contributions in the area of Leadership Acquisition and Strategic Advisory for the Public Sector. Throughout the years under his leadership, his approach has been to fuse the best local experience with a global perspective resulting in the establishment and strategic development of a unique Public Affairs & Government Relations. Mr. Krekac is President of the Business Alliance of Slovakia, a member of various advisory committees at the Slovak parliament and a member of other prestigious associations and chambers. He is also a member of the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC). On the EU level, he is member – advisor of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) in Brussels, as well as Chairman of the Board of the think-tank organization EPPP – European Public Policy Partnership.
