Jeremy has developed trusted relationships with government and industry insiders, particularly within the intelligence, DoD and national security communities and has an active Top Secret clearance. He has worked with over 300 startups, emerging growth companies as well as industry leaders. Jeremy has earned a reputation as someone who delivers after completing many hundreds of C-level, GM, VP, and board level assignments. Additionally, Jeremy has achieved his goal of being a “trusted agent” having helped dozens of senior IC/DoD transitioning government officials find private sector roles and consulting/board opportunities.

Jeremy was recognized in the 2014 ExecutiveBiz list as a “Top 10 GovCon Executive Recruiter.” In 2015, he was featured in Bisnow’s Trending 40 that recognizes the top talent in Washington’s legal, tech and association communities. Prior to founding Benchmark, Jeremy was a Managing Partner at Austin McGregor Executive Search. He then returned to the DC-area to expand the firm’s East Coast High Technology practice and launch the Federal IT practice. By conducting high-impact CXO and VP level searches, Jeremy has demonstrated an unparalleled ability to consistently deliver results across all technology sectors, all functional roles, and in all major U.S. markets. Whether serving emerging/mature technology clients or $1B government contractors, he has led engagements in cyber security, enterprise/infrastructure software, engineering/IT services, satellite, communications/networking, mobile/wireless, and hardware. Representative VC firms Jeremy has completed searches for: Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Sequoia Capital, Lightspeed Ventures, Sevin Rosen, Warburg Pincus, and GE Capital (Bay area), Benchmark Capital, Kodiak Ventures, and Flagship Ventures (Boston), Valhalla Partners, Paladin Capital, and Core Capital (DC).

Jeremy’s experience in the technology industry dates back to 1995 where he led sales and business development for Erol’s Internet, helping the company grow from 5,000 to over 100,000 customers, becoming the 7th largest ISP and then being acquired. Jeremy was then recruited to join DHR International, a top 10 retained executive search firm, as their youngest search consultant. He was on the leadership team of the company’s early-stage high technology practice. He graduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in Political Science. In 2004, Jeremy co-founded and serves on the board of non-profit HER Foundation (Hyperemesis Education & Research).
