Rita Johnson is Vice President of the MSA Executive Search Practice with Integrated Healthcare Strategies. Ms. Johnson has over 20 years of expertise in the executive recruitment field placing top leadership positions in healthcare systems, hospitals, and medical groups and physician practices.
Ms. Johnson specializes not only in consulting in candidate selections, but also in helping to influence and assure the client organization’s long-term goals. Her experience includes a strong background in employee and labor relations. She has successfully represented many hospitals in union organizing campaigns and assisted hundreds of healthcare organizations in measuring and improving their employee relations.
Ms. Johnson commits to integrity, excellence, and superior service for every assignment she leads. She backs her commitment with a strong network of key professionals in healthcare systems, hospitals, medical groups and professional associations.
Ms. Johnson began her executive search career at IHStrategies, and before rejoining the MSA Executive Search team, she owned and led a successful executive search firm, Healthcare Management Group, for 17 years, and served as a Director of Nursing at a University hospital.
Ms. Johnson attended the University of Kansas and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, an MBA, and a Juris Doctorate degree.
