Mr. Bruce D Innes

biography

Bruce D. Innes is the Managing Director and Head of Darlington Partners’ Investment Management practice. Based in Chicago, Bruce also maintains a presence in the firm’s New York office.

Bruce has spent his career in recruiting as both a search consultant and corporate officer for two major asset management firms. He has recruited for virtually every type of investment and senior management position within the investment management industry. Recent leadership searches have included Chief Operating Officer of Investments, Head of International Sales, Head of Fixed Income, and Head of Alternative Products.

Prior to rejoining Darlington Partners, Bruce served as Senior Vice President and Director of Human Resources with Calamos Investments, Inc. and was a member of their Executive Committee. Prior to Calamos, Bruce was a Partner in the Global Asset Management Practice of A.T. Kearney Executive Search. Bruce was Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Head of Global Executive Recruiting for Kemper Financial Services, Inc. and Scudder Kemper Investments. He began his search career in the Executive Search Practice of KPMG Peat Marwick.

Bruce served as an officer in the United States Army with the 4th Infantry Division (Mechanized). He earned a BA in Communications from The Ohio State University where he was a Distinguished Military Graduate, and an MS in Management and Organizational Behavior from Benedictine University. He is a member of Sigma Beta Delta National Academic Honor Society.
