biography

Lisa Grossman began her career in executive search in 1995 at Heidrick & Struggles in the Financial Services Practice, serving investment banking, private equity, and venture capital clients. In 1997 she started her own firm which focused on the technology and financial services sectors, serving a broad range of Fortune 500, start-up and other corporate and business clients including Yahoo!, eBay, and Quellos Group, among others.

Since joining m/Oppenheim Associates (formerly Phillips Oppenheim) in 2006, Lisa has conducted searches in the areas of arts and culture, social justice, health, community and human services, and global development, and for foundations spanning a variety of program, development, finance and other senior executive positions. Some of her most recent work has been serving organizations such as Kickstart, Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, National Dance Institute of New Mexico, San Francisco Ballet, Youth and Family Enrichment Services, Edgewood Center for Children and Families, Children’s Health Council, Congregation Emanu-El, Progressive Jewish Alliance, the ALS Association, and the Hewlett Foundation.

Lisa is a former Director of the Menlo Park – Atherton Education Foundation.
