Ted Gregory

biography

Ted joined Westwood in 2011 as Global Head of the Diversity and Sports practices.

Ted has built a holistic Financial Services Diversity search practice, consistently producing slates for his clients with a high percentage of diverse candidates. He is consultative in his approach, understands the complexities involved, and has a track record to help companies navigate this sometimes delicate issue in a confidential, respectful manner.

Ted logged numerous accomplishments as a scholar-athlete, participating in football, basketball, and track & field. His passion and insight for sports has enabled him to successfully place candidates with Associations, Franchises, Universities, and Foundations for positions ranging from Board Members and C-Suite executives to Athletic Directors and Collegiate Coaches.

Ted brings thirty years of business and executive search experience to his role. Prior to joining Westwood, he spent over ten years in search-related positions at Heidrick & Struggles and DHR International as well as JPMorgan Chase. Before entering search, he spent over twenty years in sales, trading and investment banking roles for Salomon Brothers, Lehman Brothers, and Bank of America.

Ted earned his BA in Economics from Columbia University.
