Federico Gonzalez

Federico Gonzalez joined Heidrick & Struggles as a Partner to lead the firm's Industrial Practice in Mexico. His professional experience includes over 28 years advising and working with industrial companies throughout Mexico and Latin America and has developed an extensive network within the corporate sector.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles Federico was in the executive search business with Barreda y Gonzalez Consultores, a boutique search firm, where he was a senior partner.

Federico held senior leadership positions with such companies as General Electric Commercial Finance where he lead the origination team that served the Mexican industrial sector, Bank of America where he was responsible for the Latin America leasing business focusing mostly on industrial clients and Continental Bank where he was country manager. During his career he also has worked for the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM), Banco Nacional de Mexico, Banca Serfin and Grupo Industrial KS (Rubbermaid).

Education

Federico earned an MBA from the University of Leuven in Belgium and a bachelor's degree from Universidad IberoAmericana in Mexico.
