Mr. Robert Fong

biography

Prior to co-founding Leadership Venture Partners, Robert was a Managing Director with Korn/Ferry International, one of the world's largest global executive search firms. While with Korn/Ferry, Robert led the firm's advanced technology, new media and private equity search practices throughout the Pacific Northwest. His client experience includes representing multinational clients, principally in the software and telecommunications industries, with a heavy emphasis in Internet and Electronic Commerce ventures. He has conducted assignments in functions including marketing, operations, MIS, finance and general management.

Before joining Korn/Ferry, Robert spent four years with the Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group, and held positions at Andersen Consulting, as well as the Hughes Aircraft Company, where he was a member of the Technical Staff.

Robert received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, at Berkeley, and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Additionally, Robert serves on the Board of Directors for the Seattle Children's Theatre as well as on the advisory boards of several pre-IPO companies including: Blockbuy.com, meVC, Ripcord Systems and Tahajo Technologies.
