Ms. Hazel Douglas

biography

Hazel joined Oxford HR in 2006. At Oxford HR, while covering a range of global jobs, Hazel has worked with FSC, FLO, Berghof Foundation, Handicap International, MSI, Rockefeller Foundation and many others. In addition, she manages Oxford HR from our Oxford office and carries out HR and OD consultancies on behalf of clients.

Previously, Hazel ran a management consultancy for 15 years, working with a range of commercial and n-f-p clients, and she is a skilled trainer, coach and facilitator of individuals, teams and groups for visioning, learning, development and planning in an organisational context. Before that, she was global HR Director for OXFAM UK/I and Head of Recruitment for a London borough in the 80s and 90s. Her first training was in youth work and she drove a London bus for a while!

Hazel has an MSc in Change from the University of Surrey, is a Master Practitioner in NLP and holds Diplomas in Counselling and Management. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Over the last 30 years, Hazel has worked for UK and global charities/social enterprise organisations as a staff member, executive and non-executive director, volunteer and trustee.
