biography

Terence has worked extensively in the selection of executive leadership and management in the marketing and technology industries for over fourteen years. He began his career in the search business as a consultant and quickly rose through the ranks to become Vice-President, General Manager and Vice-President, Sales for two of his early employers.

Terence was recruited by Mandrake in 1992 to develop the "non-advertising" agency practice as a direct extension to the core advertising agency clients looking to grow their respective businesses in these new communication disciplines. Since that time, he has helped to make Mandrake the leader in the search and selection of executives in the digital group of industries - information technology,e-commerce, new media, internet, hi-tech, telecom and wireless. In his current position of Executive Vice President of the Digital Group, Terence also plays a major role in spearheading Mandrake's Merger and Acquisition practice, and is active in the company's Management Leadership Team and Business Development Team.

He has been a guest speaker and presenter for numerous associations and agencies, as well as various colleges and universities. He is on the Board of Directors of SMART Toronto (www.sto.org), Toronto's "Technology Chamber of Commerce" - one of the largest technology associations in Canada, and the Advisory Board of MarketingCanada.com, an Internet community portal site serving the Canadian Marketing Industry. In addition, Terence was on the International Board of Directors of the White Ribbon Foundation from 1993-2000. During that time he helped to make the Foundation into the largest group in the world of men working to end violence against women.
