biography

George has over 20 years of extensive hands-on leadership experience in recruiting and human resources management.

Prior to joining Sterling Professional Search, George held the positions of Corporate Director of Human Resources and Plant Human Resources Manager for a major Tier I / Tier II supplier to the automotive industry. In addition, George has spent several years providing HR consulting to employers in various industries including automotive, paint finishing, metal stamping, plastic molding, health care and financial services. He has a successful track record recruiting and selecting mid- and upper-level managers and executives, and leading related plant start-up activities. In addition, he is experienced in developing and implementing recruitment and selection strategies and systems. An outstanding trainer, George has created and facilitated numerous recruitment / selection seminars and workshops.

He has a Masters Degree in Industrial Relations from Wayne State University (Detroit, Michigan) and a Bachelors Degree in Economics from The University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, Michigan). He is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
