Profile of Mr. Mano T. Dhanaraj

Mr. Mano has been involved in the Human Resource field for the last 17 years. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Strathclyde University, Glasgow, United Kingdom and a Masters in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University, New Hampshire, United States.

Mano, as the Vice-President – Operations, has had hands-on experience in developing and managing a community bank in New Hampshire, United States, where he developed and implemented the business processes for backroom processing, credit administration, asset and liability management and electronic banking services. Some of the other projects he has worked on and managed are as follows:

• Setting up of a USD100 million high volume contact lens manufacturing base in Batam for CibaVision on a turnkey basis including the following:

 Re-engineering of the business process to increase productivity.

 Manufacturing process layout planning to minimise production cycle time.

 Conducting the executive search for key Indonesian management staff.

 Recruiting and training the operators

 Managing the FDA and ISO certification

• Conducted productivity studies to increase the output of an international tyre manufacturer.

• Conducted manpower audit for a major property developer to define an optimum organisation structure and manning level.

• Developed an organisation whose emphasis was based on learning and mastery of skills as a means of rewards.

• Formulated and developed a remuneration structure for a newly developed grading structure for companies in transportation, travel, utility, IT and printing industry.

• Sourced and managed a team of 50 international IT contractors to develop the necessary IT infrastructure and software for a greenfield telcomunication project.

• Conducted job analysis, salary and fringe benefits analysis for at least 35 companies.

• Managed a sensitive project which replaced senior management of a SMI which resulted in turnaround in its business.
