Since 1996, as a recruiter, Amy has specialized in the Credit Card world. A sample of the companies who have benefited from Amy’s work includes: Bank of America, Bank One Corporation, e-Citi, Chase.com, Metris Companies, US Bank, SPS (now Citi Commerce Solutions), BANKFIRST, Wells Fargo, Fleet Credit Card Services, SDN Communications, Customer Analytics, Avaya Communications Inc, Crystal Group Inc, and Capital Card Services Inc.

Amy was also a guest speaker at the 1997 Faulkner and Gray Credit Card Forum.

Prior to her work as a recruiter (1992 – 1996), Amy was the Data Processing Manager for Service One Corporation – the processor for The Bank of Hoven credit card. The Data Processing Department worked with all the department managers and staff to analyze business processes and to manage all projects and support the technology-based systems including all computer systems and phone systems (the telephone switch, IVR units, and auto-dialers).

As her introduction to the credit card industry, Amy started selling computers in 1982, right out of college. This was shortly after Citibank opened their card center in Sioux Falls, SD and IBM introduced the IBM Personal Computer. Citibank Sioux Falls was Amy’s main client and by helping the various managers at Citibank computerize their departments Amy both learned about the credit card industry and met the people who are some of today’s top credit card executives. Amy continued her involvement with both the credit card industry and technology through 1992 as she sold computers and computer services. She started working with recruiters and recruiting and hiring staff as she moved into managing sales, marketing, training, and service professionals.

Amy has a BA in Mathematics and Secondary Education from Augustana College, a small liberal arts college in Sioux Falls, SD.
