biography

Carl joined Professions, Inc. in November of 1975 and became a stockholder, President and CEO in January 1976. He replaced himself as President in 1981 and is currently serving as our Chairman. 

Carl's specialty centers on the paper and packaging industry with mills, distributors and converters in the paper and packaging industry. Some of Carl's client relationships go back over two decades. He has the ability of not only finding the candidate who fits the job specifications but who also fits the corporate culture. This is proven through his high lifetime retention of recruited talent. Carl is also known for the search and recruiting of top performing diversity candidates. 

Carl is not only one of the top billing partners at Professions, but in February 1996 was inducted into the Pinnacle Society, the nationÕs premier consortium of top recruiters within the permanent placement and search industry. Carl is also a board member of the Ohio Association of Executive Search Professionals (OAESP) and Ohio Staffing and Search Association (OSSA). In addition, Carl has been published in various trade journals and has served as an expert witness in lawsuits and trials regarding non-compete agreements.
