Mr. Joe Cabrey

biography

Joe Cabrey is the Founder of Cabrey Associates, LLC. He started his career as a technical consultant and advanced into large scale project management responsibilities in the early 1980’s. He became the Director at Delphi Systems and was recruited to be the Founder and Consulting Manager of Ziff Technologies, the professional services division of Ziff Davis. When the Ziff Davis companies were being sold Joe was part of the initial team at CoreTech Consulting Group where he served as their Recruiting Manager during which time the firm went from a start up company to a $51 million organization in the first 5 years.

He cashed his equity out of CoreTech in August 1998 and founded Cabrey Associates L.L.C. in November 1998. He has served as a Founding Officer, Vice President of Programs, Treasurer, Membership Director, and President of the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Help Desk Institute, which was the first Local Chapter in a network which now features chapters in 41 countries around the world. He has been a Speaker at The International Help Desk Institute Support Symposium and received the International Award for Excellence in Special Programs, International Help Desk Institute.

Currently a member of the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey, previously he was also a member of the ICCA, the Delaware Valley IBM Mid-Range Users Group, and the PA Technology Council.

Joe is a graduate of St. Joseph’s University and lives in Brigantine NJ.
