Sara Bingaman’s search career began in the United States with a successful New York based search boutique. In her departing role as Vice President – Investment Banking and Financial Services, Sara was active in both creating and managing client relationships and search assignments for a variety of New York based financial services companies.

Sara subsequently joined the New York office of another distinguished search firm where she specialized in executive recruitment internationally within the Hospitality industry, with particular emphasis on the international hotel and resort industries.

After emigrating to Canada in 2002, Sara joined the Toronto office of Horwath Consultants, an international network of management consultants to the Hotel, Tourism and Leisure industries where she provided planning and development, strategic planning and valuation services for hotels, casinos, spas and golf resorts throughout Canada.

Sara joined McCracken & Partners in 2005, immediately deepening our service delivery commitment across our entire range of search capabilities, including the financial services and development industries in particular. Sara leads a new practice area for the firm, focused on the delivery of executive search services across all senior operational and functional positions in the highly successful hospitality and tourism industry, an industry in which Canadian based firms have enjoyed considerable international success.

Born and raised in Sacramento, California, Sara holds a Masters of Management in Hospitality from Cornell University’s prestigious School of Hotel Administration, along with an undergraduate degree in Education from Arizona State University.
