S. Joseph Baker, CPC

Founded Search Consultants International, Inc. in 1980 after a 13-year career in industry.

Under Joe's leadership for the past 21 years, Search Consultants is recognized as one of the foremost specialty recruiting firms in the nation.

In addition to day to day management of the firm, Joe also manages his own practice, which focuses on mid to senior level technical and management search.

Joe is a member of the prestigious Pinnacle Society, which recognizes top producers in the recruiting industry. He has been a recipient of Annual Awards of Excellence from the Houston Area Association of Personnel Consultants and the Texas Association of Personnel Consultants each year since 1986, placing in the top ten in each of those years.

A recipient of a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Houston, Joe is a life member of the University of Houston Alumni Association. He is also an active member of the UH Ezekiel Cullen Society, and the Museum of Fine Arts Collectors Society. Joe and his wife, Judy, are founding members of Peer Circles, a program of The Council for Alcohol and Drugs - Houston, which provides peer mentoring and counseling services for Houston Area teens and their families.
