Brigitte Arhold

Brigitte Arhold joined Amrop as Executive Director on 1 February 2008 and is based at the Worldwide Secretariat of the group, located in Brussels. Her responsibilities essentially cover the overall administration of the Amrop group, the functioning of the organization and the support of the Chair, the Board and the membership. Brigitte Arhold is a non-voting member of the Board of Directors. Before joining Amrop, Brigitte served three years as Director at the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC) with responsibilities for the EMEA Region. Brigitte was responsible for the successful set up and development of the AESC European office and of the AESC membership in this region. Prior to that, Brigitte was a Manager with Ernst & Young Belgium, where she advised a diverse number of European and international not-for-profit organizations on strategy, and association management issues, supporting them to achieve better governance, operations and functional performance. Brigitte Arhold holds a postgraduate degree (DEA) in law from the Sorbonne Paris I University and an LLM in European law from the Europa – Institut of the Universitat des Saarlandes in Germany. Brigitte is fluent in French, English and German.
