Welcome to Kaye/Bassman International Corporation (KBIC). Our organization was founded in 1981 with a mission of positively impacting companies and enhancing careers by providing the finest professional, executive, technical and scientific search.

As we entered the marketplace in the early 80s and began to navigate through the world of search, we identified two predominant types of search firms. The first model was a professional company who concentrated almost exclusively at the most senior levels. Though professional and consultative, their processes were often very lengthy coupled with large costs and no performance assurances. The second type of organization specialized in specific market segments at many levels and was able to rapidly respond to meet client needs yet had the reputation of inconsistency, lack of follow through and self-serving interests. We saw this dichotomy as an incredible opportunity to create a new approach that could blend and accentuate only the positive attributes of the traditional business models thus creating the concept of Client Focused Search.

We pioneered the Client Focused Search business paradigm to enable us to serve as a single source staffing partner to you while meeting and exceeding expectations.

This approach is based on four pillars:

As KBIC entered the 90s, we witnessed the re-engineering and downsizing initiatives that focus on core competencies. The popular business model for many was to focus on fundamental strengths and outsource the rest. This included the need for effective search professionals. As a result, companies experienced expedited delivery of search services, enhanced quality, and economies of scale. Our configuration was ideally suited to respond to this shift and as a result, grew KBIC totally organically by over 600% in the 90s. This growth earned us recognition as one of the top 10 retained search firms in North America.
