Allen Austin is a member in good standing with The Association of Executive Search Firms (AESC). The AESC is the sole accrediting body for retained executive search firms worldwide. Allen Austin is one of only eight AESC member firms in Houston and is one of only two AESC firms headquartered in Houston. We are one of only seventy AESC member firms in the United States. There are only 160 AESC member firms worldwide.

Allen Austin is an affiliate firm of TRANSEARCH, the world's second largest network of independently owned search firms. This affiliation gives us a global reach, international recruiting capabilities and a presence in thirty-five countries and all major regions of the world.

For over eleven years, we have been listed in the Kennedy Directory of Executive Search Consultants both on-line and in print, as a retained-only executive search consulting firm. We are listed as the largest retained executive search consulting firm in Houston by the Houston Business Journal's 2007 Book of Lists. We have completed over 830 engagements since our inception in 1996. We have resources, both in terms of head count and in terms of research support, greater than 99% of all North American search firms; and yet we are flexible and client focused.

We have the most disciplined, most comprehensive search methodology in the business. We have NEVER failed to deliver successfully on a retained engagement, we offer a one year guarantee on substantially all of our placements; and we utilize a selection methodology, involving a Performance Based Search specification, a proprietary candidate evaluation and interviewing process and a 58 point Reference Checking system, statistically shown to improve hiring accuracy at the senior level from 50%, to better than 90%. In fact, 92% of the executives placed by Allen Austin have remained employed beyond the two year mark.
